There wouldn't be too many of us that didn't have this album as a teenager growing up in NZ. Our first international group, Split Enz was proudly thrashed on NZ radio waves. The songs were pretty great:
- I Got You
- Hard Act to Follow
- History Never Repeats
- I Hope I Never
- One Step Ahead
- Fraction Too Much Friction
- What’s the Matter With You
- So This is Love
Hello Sailor were in their 'hey day' with 'Gutter Black' and 'Blue Lady'.
The 70s also brought about Th' Dudes with their lead track 'Walking in Light'. This was the birth place for Dave Dobbyn and Peter Urlich more famous these days, for his time on 'Dancing With the Stars'.
There was also 'The Crocodiles' which was Jenny Morris' launching pad. Their title track 'Tears' made it to the top of the charts.
